Setting Up the BarTender System Database |
You can use the options on the Administration Console System Database page to set up your BarTender System Database, create a new system database, or connect to an existing one. You can also configure message logging, integration event logging, and system database caching options.
Creating or Connecting to a System Database
Follow step-by-step instructions to access the System Database Setup wizard to create a new BarTender System Database or connect to an existing one.
Configure the logging of messages to the BarTender System Database, the Windows event log, or both.
Configuring Integration Event Logging
Configure the types of integration events that you want to be logged. Integration events are generated by the Integration Service when an integration runs and are stored in the Message History page of the Integrations section of Administration Console.
Specify caching options for print job information to prevent data loss if your database is unintentionally disconnected.
View database connection information; create a new system database or connect to an existing one; and configure message logging, integration event logging, and cache options.
