If you save your document as an older version document and your contains objects or features that didn’t exist in the previous version, you will lose these objects and features from the document. If this is the case and you attempt to save your document, a dialog warning you of these effects will pop up before saving and give you a final chance to save as the older version, save as the current version, or cancel this decision. It is recommended that you save your documents first in the current version before saving in the older version so you will have a backup copy of your document if needed.
