The Barcode Properties dialog provides access to the property pages of a barcode object.

To open this dialog, double-click the object. Alternatively, right-click the object, and then click Properties. The dialog includes several property pages in the left navigation pane.

• Selected Object Property Page

  Use this property page to specify the global properties of the selected barcode object.

• Symbology and Size Property Page

  Use this property page to specify exactly how you want a barcode object to be displayed on your template. The options that are available vary depending on the symbology that you select.

• Human Readable Property Page

  Use this property page to customize the human readable characters for the selected barcode object.

• Font Property Page

  Use this property page to specify the font style for the human readable characters.

• Text Format Property Page

  Use this property page to configure text formatting options for the human readable characters.

• Auto Fit Property Page

  Use this property page to configure an object so that the text within that object is automatically resized to fit within the object's specified dimensions.

• Border Property Page

  Use this property page to add and customize a border for a barcode object.

• Position Property Page

  Use this property page to view and specify exact coordinates for the position of the selected object and to prevent the object from being moved on the template or form.

• Error Handling Property Page

  Use this property page to specify how BarTender handles a print job if the object is in an error condition.

• Data Sources Property Page

  Use this property page to specify data source options. When you do this, you can control whether the data that is printed on your items is entered at the keyboard, read from an external database, or received from one of a number of other possible sources.
