User Memory Access Control Options Dialog |
Use the options in the User Memory Access Control Options dialog to specify which blocks of the user memory bank to lock.
To open this dialog, click Range on an RFID encoder object's Security property page. The following options are available.
Range to Permanently Lock
Lock entire memory bank: Specifies that the entire user memory bank is locked.
Lock modified blocks when specified: Specifies that the Lock after writing data check box is made available on the encoder object's RFID property page after you restart BarTender. If the Lock after writing data check box is then selected, the user blocks that are written to by that object are permanently locked.

When you select the Lock after writing data property, only the user memory blocks are affected. EPC and TID memory blocks are not affected. |
Lock specified range: Specifies that you can define a section of the user memory bank to lock.
Starting Section: Specifies the beginning section of the user memory bank to include in the lock.
Number of Sections: Specifies the number of sections in the user memory bank to include in the lock.
