Print-Only Password Setup Dialog

Use the Print-Only Password Setup dialog, which you can access on the Administer menu, to create or change an application-level password that specifies restrictions on the modification of all BarTender documents. After you create a print-only password, users cannot modify objects or use the Administer menu options for any document, or even create a new document, without supplying the password. However, uses can open and print documents.

The dialog includes the following options:

Old Password: Enter the old password, if you are changing a print-only password.
New Password: Enter the new password.
Confirm New Password: Confirm your password by reentering it.

After you specify a print-only password, you can run BarTender as usual until you exit and then reopen the application. When you open the document in the future, BarTender prompts you for the print-only password when you try to modify the document.
