The fonts that are installed with Windows by default and the Google Fonts fonts are either TrueType or OpenType fonts, including Arial, Courier New, Times New Roman, and many others. BarTender also provides two TrueType fonts that are optimized for optical character recognition: OCR-A und OCR-B. Diese Schriften werden häufig für Strichcodes verwendet.

OpenType fonts are an extension of TrueType fonts. They support international character sets and Unicode.
If your printer runs Drivers by Seagull, which are installed from Seagull Scientific, you can print your items by using printer fonts. Druckerschriftarten werden im Drucker, nicht im Computer, gespeichert. In heavy production environments, using printer fonts means that items are printed more quickly. However, unlike with TrueType fonts, the font that appears on the template might not be the same font that is printed on your items.
