The fonts that are installed with Windows by default and the Google Fonts fonts are either TrueType or OpenType fonts, including Arial, Courier New, Times New Roman, and many others.BarTender also provides two TrueType fonts that are optimized for optical character recognition:OCR-A 和 OCR-B。這些字型通常與條碼一起使用。

OpenType fonts are an extension of TrueType fonts.They support international character sets and Unicode.
If your printer runs Drivers by Seagull, which are installed from Seagull Scientific, you can print your items by using printer fonts.「印表機字型」儲存到印表機，而不是儲存到電腦中。In heavy production environments, using printer fonts means that items are printed more quickly.However, unlike with TrueType fonts, the font that appears on the template might not be the same font that is printed on your items.
