显示不可打印区域

大多数激光打印机和其他“页式”打印机都会在页面的周围留出一定的不可打印区域。For laser printers, such as those in the HP LaserJet series, the unprintable region is generally within about a .200" margin around the perimeter of the page.To be sure that all of the objects on your templates are printed in their entirety on every item on the page, you must keep this unprintable region in mind when you position objects.

To help you determine the best position for an object, you can use the Show unprintable region option to display a dashed line around the perimeter of your template that delineates the unprintable region.

要执行此操作,请完成以下步骤:

  1. On the File menu, click BarTender Document Options.

  2. Click the View Options tab if it is not already displayed.

  3. Select the Show unprintable region checkbox, and then click OK.

Alternatively, you can right-click the template, point to Ruler and Grid Settings, and then click Show Unprintable Region.

The "unprintable" area that is shown by the dashed line represents a "worst case" scenario. The only scenario in which all four sides of the dashed area would apply to all of your printed items is when each item is the size of a full page.More typically, you will print multiple items per page, and only those items that have an edge that touches the unprintable region will be affected by it, and even then, only that edge of the item is affected. For example, the top row of items on the page will be subject to the unprintable region at the top edge of the template, the left column of items will be subject to the unprintable region at the left edge of the template, and so on.
