Using the Librarian Interface |
To start Librarian, use one of the following methods:
On the BarTender Tools menu, click Librarian.
On the Windows Start menu, click All Programs, expand the BarTender folder, and then click Librarian.
The Librarian user interface consists of the Librarian window, its panes, and the main menu bar, which you can use to view and organize files and file revision history.
You can configure the appearance of the Librarian window, check files in and out, access other applications in the BarTender Suite, and find support information.
Use the Folders, Files, File History, Details, and Preview panes to locate and organize files, view detailed information about the files and file revisions, revert to previous versions of a file, add or edit comments, change a file's workflow state, and preview a version of a document.
The Librarian main menu bar includes options that you can use to configure and manage Librarian and the files that it contains.
