The Word Processor property page of the Text Properties dialog specifies the dimensions of the object and provides easy access to the Word Processor editor. The following options are available.

Word Processor

• Word Processor: Displays the text that is contained in the text object.

• Word Processor: Opens the Word Processor, which you can use to apply advanced formatting to the text object.

Size and Scaling

• Size and Scaling: Specifies how BarTender resizes and scales the object and text.

  • Automatically adjust object height to hold contents: BarTender specifies the height of the rich text object based on the height of the object's content.

  • Fixed object dimensions: BarTender does not resize any objects or text. Therefore, any text that extends beyond the boundaries of the object is hidden.

  • Automatically scale content to fit object dimensions: BarTender resizes the content of the object to fit the size of the object.

• Object Dimensions: Specifies the width and height of the selected object. Available for all Size and Scaling selections.

• Content Alignment: Specifies the vertical and/or horizontal alignment of the content that the selected object contains when the content is smaller than the object's dimensions. Available when Automatically scale content to fit object dimensions or Fixed object dimensions is selected.

• Content Scaling: Specifies whether the content of the rich text is resized automatically or manually. Depending on the Size and Scaling selection, the following options may be available:

  • Scale: Resizes the object's content by the specified percentage. For example, an object that is scaled at 200 percent doubles in size. Available when Fixed Object Dimensions or Automatically adjust object height to hold contents is selected.

  • Minimum: Specifies the lower percentage threshold to which BarTender can resize the object's content. Available when Automatically scale content to fit object dimensions is selected.

  • Maximum: Specifies the upper percentage threshold to which BarTender can resize the object's content. Available when Automatically scale content to fit object dimensions is selected.
