Use the Prefix and Suffix dialog to append static text and/or control characters to either side of the selected data source. You can access this dialog by using one of the following methods:

• For template objects, click next to the Prefix and Suffix option on the Transforms tab of the Data Sources property page.

• For human readable characters in a barcode object, click next to the Prefix and Suffix option on the Human Readable property page.

• For query prompts, click next to the Prefix and Suffix option on the More Query Prompt Options dialog.

The following options are available.

Adjacent Text

• Prefix: Specifies the text that is added to the beginning of the data source.

• Suffix: Specifies the text that is added to the end of the data source.
