Enter Data For Query Dialog |
The Enter data for query dialog is a print-time dialog that is displayed at the beginning of a print job if you created a query prompt when you configured your database connection. The print operator must enter a value to query by before BarTender continues to process the print job.

If you linked your query prompt to a control on a data entry form, the prompt is displayed on the data entry form that you created, and the Enter data for query dialog is not displayed. If you did not link your query prompt to a control on a data entry form, the Enter data for query dialog is generated automatically so that the print operator can enter the reply. |
BarTender searches by using the specified field for all records that match the search value. If no matching records are found, the print operator receives an error message.
