Use the Button property page to specify the text description that is displayed on the button, specify the height and width of the button, and select the reading order. You can also configure actions to occur when the button is clicked, such as printing documents, writing to a file or database, and sending email.

The following options are available.

Properties

• Text: Specifies the text that is displayed on the button.

• Height: Specifies the height of the button.

• Width: Specifies the width of the button.

• Reading Order: Specifies the reading order for the text on the button. To use the reading order that is configured on the Form property page, select Auto. If you select a reading order that is not supported by the selected typeface, BarTender treats the text as directionally mixed.

Actions

• Actions: Opens the Control Actions page, which you can use to configure one or more actions for the button. For more information, refer to Using Document and Form Actions.
