Finding Files

You can locate files in the Print Station browser window by browsing the available folders and files or by using the search field.

Print Station displays only those files that the current user has permission to read. If the file that you want is not displayed and you know it exists in the specified folder, verify that you have the required permissions to read the document.

To view a file's permissions, use Windows Explorer to locate the file, click Properties on the file's context menu, and then click the Security tab. You may have to request permission from your system administrator to read this file.

If you or an administrator has selected the Show folder navigator option but not Show folders in browser, and you click a top-level folder in the folder navigator that contains nothing but subfolders, a message is displayed that reads "No BarTender documents (*.btw), process files (*btproc), or BTXML Script files (*.btxml) were found." To view files, expand the top-level level folder, and then click any of the subfolders inside it.
