Use the Administration tab to access the standard file functions such as New, Open, Save, Save As, and Close, and to access recently saved databases and folders.
In the left navigation pane, the following options are available:
New: Creates a new Data Builder database that has a new table that contains an Auto-Incrementing field.
Open: Opens the Load Database dialog, where you can locate and then open an existing Data Builder database file.
Save: Saves the database file. If the file is new and was not previously saved, the Save As dialog is displayed when you click this option.
Save As: Displays the Save As dialog, in which you can save the open database file by defining the name and specifying the location where you want it to be saved.
Close: Closes the currently selected open database file without exiting Data Builder. If you did not save the changes that you made to the open database file, you are prompted to do so.
Recent: Lists databases and folders that you previously created. Click a listed item to open it.
Help: Provides options for you to access help and product information.
Exit: Exits Data Builder. If you did not save the changes that you made to the open database files, you are prompted to do so.
