By using the Default Printer dialog, you can specify whether BarTender uses the Windows default printer or uses its own default printer selection.

To open the Default Printer dialog, click Default Printer on the Printer Setup page.

The dialog includes the following options:

• Default Printer: Specifies a default printer to use. Select the default printer that you want from the list of installed printers.

• Use Windows default printer: Specifies that BarTender uses the same default printer that is used by other Windows applications.

• Use BarTender default printer: Specifies that BarTender manages its own default printer selection. Changing the default printer in the Default Printer list affects only BarTender, not other applications.

  • Use the same default printer for all users on this computer: Specifies that the default printer that is used for BarTender is the default printer for all users on the computer. If this option is not selected, users can choose their own default printer.
