Automatic Duplex Printing |
Some printers can print on both sides of a page. This feature, known as double-sided printing or duplex printing, can increase printing efficiency and decrease the amount of paper that is used in your print jobs.
Some printers automatically print on both sides of a page (automatic duplex printing), while other printers print the front side of all pages and then require you to flip the stack of pages and feed them back into the printer (manual duplex printing). For printer models that support automatic duplex printing, BarTender includes a printing option that you can use to specify double-sided printing for your document. You can also design and print documents that contain separate template designs for the front and back of the printed items.
To determine whether your printer supports double-sided printing, refer to the printer manual or contact the printer manufacturer.
