You cannot specify a different color for the barcode if the White on Black option has been selected.

The White on Black option enables you to reverse a barcode so that it will be displayed on the screen and printed on items as white on a black background. When this option is selected, a reversed barcode looks like a white barcode on a black box. The black box will be wide enough on all sides to fill the quiet zone (if the symbology requires one).
