HIBC

The Health Industry Bar Code (HIBC) standard was developed specifically for the healthcare industry to fulfill unique safety requirements for the labeling of medical products, such as medical devices, that are not typically found in commercial retail settings. All items that are shipped to hospitals are required to have an HIBC label.

2D-Pharmacode	On the Symbology and Size property page, click HIBC in the Prefix list.
Aztec Code	Click to select the HIBC check box on the Symbology and Size property page.
Circular Code 128	Click to select the HIBC check box on the Symbology and Size property page.
Code 128	Click to select the HIBC check box on the Symbology and Size property page.
Data Matrix	On the Symbology and Size property page, click HIBC in the Prefix list.
QR Code	On the Symbology and Size property page, click HIBC in the Mode list.
