Transparency |
The Transparency option defines the degree of transparency in a line or shape object. The degree of transparency comes into play when the object overlaps another object. By changing the transparency of the top object, you can decide to what degree the bottom object will be visible through the top object.
In this example, the top object is filled with white, and the bottom object is filled with blue. Only the transparency of the white filled area will be adjusted, although transparency can be applied to lines as well. The transparency of lines and fill colors can be edited separately within the same object.
At 0% transparency, the top object is completely opaque, and the bottom does not show through it at all.
At 50% transparency, the top object is partly transparent, and the bottom object is partially visible through it.
At 100%, the top object is entirely transparent, like a pane of glass, and the bottom object is fully visible through it.
