The Toolbox contains a set of panes to help you design and configure your templates and data entry forms.

In This Section

• Components Pane

  The Components pane, which is available in the Template Design view, gives you a place to create and store preconfigured objects and groups of objects that you can share with other templates and documents. You can reuse any such component by dragging it from the Components pane to a template.

• Layers Pane

  The Layers pane, which is available in the Template Design view, lists the layers for the selected template. You can use this pane to create new layers and modify existing ones.

• Data Sources Pane

  The Data Sources pane is available in both the Template Design view and the Data Entry Form view. In the Template Design view, this pane lists all of the data sources that are available for use on your template, including database fields, named data sources, and global data fields; you can drag these elements to the template to create a template object that is linked to the data source. In the Data Entry Form view, this pane lists the template objects and data sources that you can link to data entry controls.
