Moving Toolbars

By default, toolbars are displayed directly below the main menu bar, with the exception of the arrange toolbar, which is displayed along the right side of the application window. All toolbars can be repositioned in the application window and can be made into floating toolbars outside of the application window.

ClosedTo move a toolbar

  1. Point to the icon at the left of a horizontal toolbar or at the top of a vertical toolbar to display the pointer.

  2. After the pointer appears, drag the toolbar to one of the following locations:

    • One of the sides of the application window

    • Above, below, or to the side of an existing toolbar

    • Any other location on your computer screen (this action turns the toolbar into a floating toolbar)
