A picture object places an image on your template. The image can be imported from your computer or an external device, such as a camera.

  BarTender supports many different image formats that you can import into your template.

  The Picture Properties dialog provides access to the property pages for a picture object. You can use these property pages to customize the object to meet your design needs or change the method that is used to import the image.

  Images can be embedded into an object or linked to an external file. They can also be captured at print time by using a control on the data entry form or linked to a binary formatted image file in a database. BarTender also supports the embedding of Base64-encoded images into the template. • Modifying Pictures

  To ensure that your image is displayed correctly on your printed item, BarTender supports several different methods for editing the image. By using the property pages in the Picture Properties dialog, you can resize your image; adjust the color, focus, or rotation of the image; crop the image; and add special effects, such as changing the transparency of the image.
