Barcode Object

By using a barcode object, you can place a barcode on the template that can be read by a barcode reader when it is printed. There are many different types of barcodes, and by using BarTender, you can create the one that is appropriate for your business needs.

The four main types of barcode symbologies are: linear, two-dimensional (2-D) stacked, 2-D matrix, and composite. The Barcode Guide on the Seagull Scientific website describes the differences between the symbology types and gives details for the symbologies that BarTender supports.
