Picture Adjustments Property Page |
Use the Picture Adjustments property page to modify and render pictures on your template or data entry form. When you change any of the settings, the displayed image is updated to reflect the changes. By using the Picture Adjustments property page, you can adjust the color, focus, or rotation of the selected picture object.
The following options are available.
Color Adjustment
Contrast: Specifies that you can adjust the difference of tone between light and dark colors. Move the slider to the left to decrease the difference between colors and to the right to increase the difference.
Brightness: Specifies that you can adjust the level of colors in the selected picture. Move the slider to the left to darken the picture and to the right to lighten the picture.
Hue: Specifies that you can adjust the color of the selected picture. When you adjust an image's hue, the base color of the image rotates around the color wheel while maintaining its brightness and saturation. Move the slider to the left or right to change the colors in the image on a scale of red, orange, yellow,green, blue, or violet.
Saturation: Specifies that you can adjust the amount of color in the selected picture. Move the slider to the left to make the image appear more gray and to the right to make the colors more vivid.
Blur and Sharpen
Blur/Sharpen: Specifies that you can adjust the clarity of the selected picture. By blurring an image, you soften the image by decreasing the contrast of the edges. By sharpening an image, you make the image more distinct and clear by increasing the contrast of the edges.
Straighten
Rotate: Specifies a rotation angle of the selected picture in tenths of a degree. If you enter a positive number, the picture is rotated counter-clockwise. If you enter a negative number, the picture is rotated clockwise.
Shear: Specifies a shear angle of the selected picture in tenths of a degree. If you enter a positive number, the top of the picture is horizontally sheared to the left. If you enter a negative number, the top of the picture is horizontally sheared to the right.

If you use the Rotate or Shear options, the effects are applied to the picture before any cropping is done. To rotate an image after you crop it, use the Rotation option on the Position property page. |
