Running Process Files

To run a process file, use one of the following methods: 

ClosedTo run a process file by using Print Station

This procedure assumes that you have already configured Print Station to show the folder in which the process files are saved.

  1. In Print Station, browse to the folder that contains the process file that you want to run, and then click the file.

  2. In the Run BarTender Process File dialog, click Run.

ClosedTo run a process file by using Windows Explorer

  1. In Windows Explorer, browse to the folder where the process file is saved. By default, this folder is in the following location: 

    C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\BarTender\Process Files

  2. Double-click the process file that you want to run. Alternatively, use the secondary mouse button to click the process file, and then click Run.

When you run a process file, the Run Process dialog is displayed. While the process file is running, you can click Stop to stop the file. If an error occurs, the Run Process dialog displays the error text. Otherwise, the dialog closes automatically when the file successfully finishes running.
