Use the New Target dialog to create a new message channel to send event notifications to. Available channels include email, instant messaging networks, SMS, the Windows Event Log, and the BarTender System Database.
To access this dialog, click the icon in the toolbar below the Event Targets list in the Events Setup dialog.

The Windows Event Log and the BarTender System Database always use the local machine settings, so only a single target of each can be created. |
Target Type: Displays the available target types. To create a new target, select an item in this list, and then click OK.
