Use the Test tab to test an individual integration in an integration file and its actions. By using the controls on this tab, you can start and stop the integration, repeat an integration event, run a simulated print job, use sample data, and view messages and other details about the integration and its actions in the Test view.
To start and stop the integration and repeat an event

To start the integration, select the integration that you want in the Integrations pane, and then click Start .

To stop the integration, click Stop .

To repeat the last integration event, click Repeat Last Event .
To run a simulated print job

Click Simulated Print . This icon toggles the simulated print mode off and on. When simulated print mode is on, the print job runs but does not print any physical items. A simulated print result is generated and saved to a temporary folder, where you can view it.
To use sample data
To use previously captured sample data to run an integration, click Execute, and then do one of the following:

Click a recently used file.

Click More Samples to open the Select Sample dialog, select the sample that you want to use, and then click OK. Alternatively, double-click the sample.

Click Sample File to open the Open File dialog, browse to and select the file that you want to use, and then click Open. Alternatively, double-click the file that you want to use.
The integration immediately runs by using the sample data that you chose.
The Test tab displays the Test view, which includes an integration status pane that provides details about the integration that is selected in the Integrations pane. For more information, refer to Test View.
