Sample Data Wizard

Samples are snapshots of integration inputs and events that you can use to test and troubleshoot integrations. By using samples, you can verify that the actions and variables that you have configured will produce the results that you want.

The Sample Data wizard provides an easy-to-use interface that you can use to assign a name to a sample, select a sample data source (which can be an integration event or a file) to use as a sample, and/or review the variables that the sample uses.

The wizard pages that you see, and the order in which they appear, depend on the task that you are using the wizard to perform. For example, under some circumstances, the wizard does not require you to select a sample data source.

You can create samples by using an event message, by using the Samples area of an integration's Input Data property page in the Create view, or by using the sample data features on the Test tab ribbon. Each of these options starts the Sample Data wizard.
