Use the Port property page to configure the following properties for your integration.
Port
Port: Specifies the serial COM port that the Integration Service monitors.
Communication Settings
Bits per second: Specifies the speed of the serial link in bits per second.
Data bits: Specifies the data bits for the serial communication.
Parity: Specifies the parity for the serial communication.
Stop bits: Specifies the stop bits for the serial communication.
Flow control: Specifies the flow control setting for the serial communication.
Connection Protocol
Send acknowledgement message when client connects: Specifies a message that is sent when the integration connects to the COM port. Enter the response message in the input box. Alternatively, you can add a variable that specifies the message. You can also add a special character to the value that you enter.
