Use the Message Queue property page to configure the following properties for your integration.

Message Queue Setup

• Protocol: Specifies that the protocol is Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ).

• Message Queue: Specifies the location of the message queue that the Integration Service monitors. Enter the location in the input box. Alternatively, you can add a variable that specifies the message queue location. You can also add a special character to the value that you enter.

  • Create Message Queue if it does not exist: Specifies that the Integration Service creates the specified message queue if it does not already exist.

Message

• Do not remove message from queue if actions fail (transactional): Specifies that if the message queue is transactional, the message is not removed from the queue if the action fails.

• Queue Message Format: Specifies whether the format is XML or text.

• Message Encoding: Specifies the message encoding. Available when the queue message format is Text.
