Create View |
The Create view is displayed by default when the Main window first opens. You can display it at any time by clicking the Create tab on the ribbon. This view includes the following panes, which you can use to configure the properties and actions for each integration in your integration file.
|
The Create view remains displayed until you click the Test tab, when the view changes to the Test view. The Test view remains displayed until you again click the Create tab. |
The Integrations pane is located in the upper-left corner of the Create view. It lists all the integrations that are part of the open integration file. When you click one of the integrations in this list, the name is highlighted, and information about this integration is displayed in the other panes of the Create view.
When you use the secondary mouse button to click an existing integration, the following options are available:
New: Opens the New Integration dialog, where you can add another integration to the integration file.
Duplicate: Creates a duplicate copy of the selected integration.
Cut: Deletes the selected integration and copies it to the Clipboard.
Copy: Copies the integration to the Clipboard.
Paste: Pastes the previously copied integration into the list from the Clipboard.
Delete: Deletes the selected integration.
Move Up: Moves the selected integration up one level in the list of integrations.

The integration components pane is located below the Integrations pane. It lists the property pages and actions for the integration that is currently selected in the Integrations pane. In this pane, you can click to select a property page or an action to configure the settings that you want.
|
The name of this pane is dynamic and is the same as the name of the integration that is currently selected in the Integrations pane (for example, if an integration that is called "Part Number" is selected, the name of this pane is Part Number). If no name is specified for the integration, this pane reflects the integration method for the selected integration (such as File Integration). |
This pane includes the following nodes:
Integration: This node contains the property pages for the integration. The property pages that are available depend on the integration method that is selected.
Actions: This node contains a list of the actions that you have configured for the selected integration. By default, the Print Document action is included when a new integration is created.
To add a new action to the integration, click to open the New Action dialog. Alternatively, use the secondary mouse button to click Actions, and then click New to open the New Action dialog. To delete an action, point to the action, and then click .
Additionally, when you use the secondary mouse button to click an action, you can use the following options to manage the action:
New: Opens the New Action dialog, where you can add another action to the selected integration.
Duplicate: Creates a duplicate copy of the selected action.
Cut: Deletes the selected action and copies it to the Clipboard.
Copy: Copies the action to the Clipboard.
Paste: Pastes the previously copied action into the list from the Clipboard.
Delete: Deletes the selected action.
Move Up: Moves the selected action up one level in the list of actions.
