You can cause some of BarTender's functions to be performed automatically when BarTender starts by adding special codes, called command-line parameters, to BarTender's command line. Command-line parameters are most commonly used to run BarTender from within other programs or to change BarTender's startup behavior so that it automatically loads an existing document or starts a print job.

By using command-line parameters, you can also run BarTender without ever viewing the BarTender user interface. For more information about using the command line interface, click the desired topic:
