General Tab
Use the options on the General tab to change settings that affect which printers are displayed, how history data is retained, and how confirmation dialogs behave.
Printers Pane

Show printers in Printers Folder only: Specifies that only the printers in your local Printers folder are displayed in the Printers pane.
When this option is selected, you cannot manage remote printers.
Jobs Pane

Recent Jobs Displayed: Specifies the maximum number of jobs to be displayed in the Recent Jobs pane. When this limit is reached, only the most recent entries are retained.
Events Pane

Recent Events Displayed: Specifies the maximum number of events to be displayed in the Events pane. When this limit is reached, only the most recent entries are retained.

Events Pane Messages: Opens the Events Pane Messages dialog, which you can use to choose which event messages to display in the Events pane.
Confirmation Dialogs

Reset Confirmation Dialogs: Resets the confirmation dialogs. Many confirmation dialogs have a "Do not show this dialog again" check box, which the user can click so that the dialogs are suppressed. When you reset the confirmation dialogs, they are displayed again.
