Use the Define Inventory Types dialog to define your own inventory types in addition to the list of predefined item types. You can delete or modify user-defined inventory types, but predefined inventory types are read-only.

The following options are available: 

• Type: Specifies the name of the new inventory type.

• Category: Specifies the category of items to which this type belongs. The choices are Media, Pigment, or Hardware.

• Comment: Specifies a comment for the new inventory type.
