Cluster Setup

You can use Printer Maestro to configure a print management system for a cluster by using the Cluster Setup and Create Print Spooler Resource dialogs.

ClosedCluster Setup Dialog

Use the Cluster Setup dialog to create a Printer Maestro resource on the cluster group of your choice. The Printer Maestro resource requires that a Print Spooler resource exist on the same cluster group. For this reason, you can also use this dialog to remove an existing Printer Maestro resource or to bring the resource on or offline.

The following options are available:

Printer Maestro Cluster Resource

If you click OK or Cancel, Printer Maestro checks to determine whether a Printer Maestro resource exists on the selected cluster group. If such a resource does not exist, you are prompted to create a new one. If a Printer Maestro resource does exist and the Storage Directory has been changed, the resource is updated with the new directory.

ClosedCreate Print Spooler Resource Dialog

Use the Create Print Spooler Resource dialog to create a Print Spooler resource on the selected cluster group. The Print Spooler resource is required for a Printer Maestro resource.
