Use the Filter by Category dialog to configure filter criteria based on the event's category. This dialog is displayed when you click Category in the New Filters dialog or when you right-click a category criterion and then click Edit Criteria.

The following options are available:

• Condition: Specifies the condition that you want to use for the filter criteria. When you select Is Equal, events that have a category that matches one of the selected categories pass the filter. When you select Is Not Equal, events that have a category that matches one of the selected categories do not pass the filter.

• Category: Specifies the categories that you want to apply the selected condition to. The available categories are Printer, Job, Computer, Database, and Inventory.
