Using the Librarian Interface |
To start Librarian, use one of the following methods:
On the BarTender Tools menu, click Librarian.
On the Windows Start menu, click All Programs, expand the BarTender folder, and then click Librarian.
The Librarian user interface consists of the Librarian window, its panes, and the main menu bar, which make it easy to view and organize files and file revision history.
You can configure the appearance of the Librarian window, set up workflows and check-in and check-out procedures, access other applications in the BarTender Suite, and find support information.
Use the Folders, Files, and File History panes to locate and organize files, view detailed information about the files and file revisions, revert to previous versions of a file, add or edit comments, and change a file's workflow state.
The Librarian main menu bar includes options that you can use to configure and manage Librarian and the files that it contains.
