BarTender System Database 是 BarTender Suite 中的应用程序的集中数据存储。 It is required for most of the features that are included in the Automation and Enterprise Automation editions. It includes such data as the following:

• 任何 BarTender 应用程序所遇到的事件（如错误消息和“弹出”对话框）

• Information about each print job that is sent from BarTender (such as the document that was printed and the time the job was sent)

• Security checks that are defined in Administration Console

• 模板设计和预览图像（用于重新打印项目）

• Librarian 文件和修订版信息

默认 BarTender System Database 使用 Microsoft SQL Server Express，后者是免费的，但具有 10 GB 数据库大小限制。 如果您希望多台计算机共享集中数据库，或者您具有一台记录大量打印作业的计算机，则可能想要使用您自己的数据库服务器。

You can run the BarTender System Database Setup Wizard from the BarTender installer after you install BarTender. 如果那时未安装该向导，或者您希望安装其他 BarTender System Database，则可以直接从 Administration Console 中运行该向导。
