Printer Maestro: Printer Events Pane |
The Printer Maestro: Printer Events pane, accessible by selecting a filter in the Printer Maestro: Printer Events view, displays all of the printer events that are logged to the BarTender System Database by Printer Maestro. Printer events can be browsed using the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the pane.
When Printer Maestro detects a print job, it stores information about the print events such as event time, severity, and category as fields in the BarTender System Database. This information can be viewed by adding or removing columns in the Printer Maestro: Printer Events pane. The following information is stored about each printer event in the BarTender System Database:
Category: Displays the type of event that triggered the message, such as "Job" or "Printer".
Computer: Displays the name of the computer to which the printer triggering the event is attached.
Message: Displays the content of the message. Select the down arrow to display the entire message.
Printer: Displays the name of the printer triggering the event.
Severity: Displays whether the event was an error, warning, or informational event.
Time: Displays the date and time that the event occurred.
Time (UTC): Displays the date and time that the event occurred in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). UTC time, or Greenwich Mean Time, is an international time scale based on the local standard time on the 0 longitude meridian in Greenwich, England.
