Miscellaneous Options

• Printed Item Image Source: Defines the preview image source.

  • Database: Preview images will be created using the database logging image file options available in BarTender's Log Setup dialog. If the Image of the Printed Item(s) option is selected, a preview image file is stored to the BarTender System Database when the document is saved.

  • Generated: Preview images will be generated on-demand using print job information stored in the BarTender System Database.

  • Auto: Preview images will be displayed by using the image stored in the BarTender System Database. If the preview image is not available, the image will be generated on-demand using print job information stored in the BarTender System Database.

• Expand Grid Groups: When enabled, initially displays the records in expanded form. You can manually collapse the individual records by clicking the - icon next to the record.

• Automatically Refresh Views: When enabled, automatically refreshes all grid views after the specified period of time.

Language

• Language: Specifies the language that History Explorer will use to display its menus, dialogs, and data. If the language that you need is not available in the list, additional languages can be installed using the BarTender installer.

Measurements and Standards

• Units: Specifies the unit of measurement that History Explorer uses when referring to horizontal or vertical distances.

• Decimal Symbol: Specifies the character that History Explorer uses as the displayed decimal character.

• Windows Settings: Opens the Windows Control Panel's Regional and Language Options dialog.
