The Use Item dialog allows you to decrease the quantity of an existing inventory item to reflect the removal of items from storage. This feature is available for all existing items which have at least one item in storage.

• Item: Displays the item that will be used. (Read-only)

• Location: Specifies the location from which the specified quantity of the item will be removed. All locations for the selected inventory item are available for selection. If there is only one defined location, the items will automatically be added to that location and the location control will not be displayed.

• Quantity in stock: Displays the current quantity of the item stored in the selected location. (Read-only)

• Quantity used: Specifies the quantity of the item to be removed from the selected location.

• Projected new quantity: Displays the projected quantity of the item that will be stored in the location after the operation. (Read-only)
