The Define Inventory Types dialog allows you to define your own inventory types, in addition to the list of predfined item types. User-defined inventory types may be deleted or modified, but predefined inventory types are read-only.

• Type: Specifies the name of the new inventory type.

• Category: Specifies the category of items to which this type belongs. The choices are Media, Pigment, or Hardware.

• Comment: Specifies a comment for the new inventory type.
