The Test pane allows you to test an individual integration in an integration file. The controls on this pane allow you to start and stop the integration, and view general details regarding its execution. The pane further provides a view showing each action that the integration runs, as well as an output view where you can review logged messages for the integration and its actions including errors, warnings, messages and events.
You can access the Test pane on Integration Builder's Home tab using one of the following methods:

With the desired integration selected in the Integrations pane, click on the integration toolbar.

With the desired integration selected in the Integrations pane, click the Test tab at the bottom of the window.

If the selected integration has been configured to run immediately, it will begin running as soon as the Test pane is displayed. Otherwise, you can click Start to begin running the integration.

If your integration file contains more than one integration, you select another integration from the Integrations pane to load that integration into the Test pane.
The Test pane is comprised of the following components:
The Test Details are located at the top of the Test pane and include general information about the execution of the integration. This information includes the following:

Integration Name: Saves the active integration using the same file name from which it was previously saved. If the integration is new and has not been previously saved, the Save As dialog will be displayed.

Start: Starts the integration.

Stop: Stops the integration.

Status: Indicates whether the integration is stopped or waiting for events.

Event Occurrences: The number of times the integration was executed.

Last Started: When the integration was last started.

Integration Type: The type of integration. For instance, a file integration or an email integration.

Run Time: When the integration is successfully completed, displays the time that it took to run.

Last Executed Event: When the integration was last executed.

Number of Failures: Displays how many failures occurred while running the integration.
The Test tab's Actions section displays a list of the actions being run by the integration in the order in which they are executed. The list displays the status for each action, as well as any error messages related to each action.

To view an error message for an action, hover the cursor over the error message or over the icon.

To view an entire, lengthy error message, or to copy the message to the clipboard, click the icon to open the Last Error Message dialog.
The Output section of the pane displays the logged messages associated with the integration and its actions. By default, the list of messages includes all errors, warnings, messages and events.
The output messages for an individual integration can be viewed in either the condensed view displayed on the Test pane, or in a separate Output Messages window. Both of these views include the following options and controls:

Errors: Click this control to show or hide the logged errors.

Warnings: Click this control to show or hide the logged warnings.

Messages: Click this control to show or hide the logged messages.

Events: Click this control to show or hide the logged events.

Search: Types values in this field to search the output message by keyword.

: Displays the most recent messages in the list.

: Provides menu options including the following:

View Output Message in Window: Opens a separate Output Messages window with scrolling enabled for viewing a greater number of output messages related to the most recently tested integration. If you select View Output Message in Window from the menu while in an Output Messages window, an additional Output Messages window will open.

View Message History: Opens the Integration Messages window, where you can quickly view the output messages for any integrations belonging to the integration file. Simply select the integration from the Left Navigation pane to display it's output messages in the messages pane. The window includes the same controls provided on the Test pane and Output Messages window, and additionally includes a refresh control for refreshing the message list.

Clear Messages: Clears the contents of the Message list.

Export Messages to XML: Allows you to export the messages to an XML file.

: Located in the Output list's Message column header, when clicked allows you to filter the messages by a particular message.
