When linking pictures or when importing pictures from an external database, BarTender looks for picture files stored on a hard drive or floppy disk. You may receive an error message if a valid picture file has not been assigned or if BarTender cannot locate the linked or data sourced file in the expected location. The Error Handling dialog instructs BarTender how to handle the print job if one of these error conditions is encountered.

Print-Time Error Handling

If the picture is not found at print job, BarTender will perform the selected action:

• Always Abort Print Job: Instructs BarTender not to continue the print job if a picture file cannot be located.

• Ask Before Aborting Print Job: Instructs BarTender to notify the user if a picture file cannot be located.

• Never Abort Print Job: Instructs BarTender to continue printing even if a picture file cannot be located.
