The Encoder Properties dialog provides access to the property pages for an RFID, magnetic stripe, or smart card encoder object. Depending on the encoder object selected, the actual dialog name is one of the following:

• RFID Properties Dialog

• Magnetic Stripe Properties Dialog

• Smart Card Properties Dialog

To open this dialog, double-click on the encoder object. Alternatively, select Properties from the encoder object's context menu.

In the Encoder Properties dialog, you can access the following property pages from the Navigation Pane: 

• Selected Object Property Page

• Encoder Property Page

• Security Property Page (Security-enabled RFID objects only)

• Data Sources Property Page
