The Face Detection Options dialog, accessible from the Image Capture property page, allows you to specify the size of the resulting image following BarTender's automatic face detection. You can choose to size an image based on passport specifications, or for an identification card; if none of these preset options work for you, you can customize the size of the photograph to match your own specifications.

• Margins: Defines the amount of space surrounding the face. This value is a percentage of the size of the photo if it included only the face as detected by BarTender's automatic face detection algorithm. Therefore, a value of 0% will display only the face in the photograph. By increasing the margins of the image, you can expand the image to include other parts of the photograph, such as hair and clothing.
