The Prefix and Suffix dialog enables you to append static text and/or control characters to either side of the selected data source. You can access this dialog in one of the following ways:

• Click next to the Prefix and Suffix option on the Transforms tab of the Data Sources property page (for template objects).

• Click next to the Prefix and Suffix option on the Human Readable property page (for modification of human readable characters in a barcode object).

• Click next to the Prefix and Suffix option on the More Query Prompt Options dialog (for query prompts).

The following options are available: 

Adjacent Text

• Prefix: Specifies the text that will be added to the beginning of the data source.

• Suffix: Specifies the text that will be added to the end of the data source.
