Internet Mail Setup Dialog |
You can access this dialog from the Alert Setup dialog by clicking the Setup button when Internet Mail (SMTP) is selected as the Mail System.
Sending Account
From: Specifies the name or alias that appears with the email address in the From field of the notification.
E-mail Address: Specifies the email address in the From field of the notification.
Requires Authentication: When enabled, specifies that the mail server requires a user login before sending emails. Selecting this option will activate the User Name and Password options.
User Name:
Password: Specifies the password for the user name.
Outgoing Mail Options (SMTP)
Mail Server: Specifies the name or location of the mail server.
Port: Specifies the port that will be used when communicating with the mail server.
Timeout:
Encoding: Specifies the encoding used for the text of the email message.
