Data Entry Form Dialog

The Data Entry Form dialog is a print-time dialog that displays at the beginning of a print job if you created a query prompt while setting up your database connection. You must enter a value to query by before BarTender will continue processing the print job.

If you linked your query prompt to a control on a data entry form, the prompt will be displayed on the data entry form that you created, and this dialog will not be displayed. If you did not link your query prompt to a control on a data entry form, the Data Entry Form dialog is generated automatically so that you may enter your reply.

BarTender will search using the field specified for all records matching the search value. If no matching records are found, you will receive an error message.
